The inaugural release is classified as the Alpha Prime Edition. Each Mechalor comes with a unique set of stats that play a role in the upcoming MechRoyale game. Stats can be upgraded, based on the class and model of Mechalor.

Unique Playable Advantages

For the Alpha Prime Edition, each megacorp produced a series of 2,000 units consisting of four different models, with only 500 units per model. Each series would inherit a unique advantage based on the heritage and expertise of its maker, i.e. mining, battling or breeding.

Limited Production

A total of 6,000 units will make up the entire Alpha Prime Edition. No additional Alpha units will ever be produced.

Tonium Discovered as a Viable Source of Energy

Previous explorative missions to Mars had identified Tonium, a mineral found inside rock aggregate deep within the planet’s crust. Tonium could be mined and refined into Tonic, a viable form of energy. It would take a sizable quantity of Tonium to produce sufficient amounts of energy to sustain life for all of Earth’s emigrants.

Birth of The Mechalor

So three notable mega corporations joined together to build highly sophisticated, bi-pedal mining mech-bots that could be sent in advance to Mars to mine Tonium needed to energize and sustain life in the colonies. These mechanical marvels are known as The Mechalor.

Mogultrons: Menacing Mechs of Mars

Upon their arrival on Mars, they discovered that they were not alone. In the outer reaches of the Forbidden Zone are hulking machines known as the Mogultrons -- their scripted mandate is to protect the same precious natural resource in the Zone, Tonium. Few things can withstand the power of these behemoth mechs as they exert their power and weapons with destructive force to wreak havoc upon any target that dares to enter the Zone.
